Favorite spoons

I bought these spoons when I was 8 months pregnant - so much for my rule of only buying things that I needed in the present moment. But somehow these spoons were such a symbol of babyhood, that I couldn't resist.

And of course, I was using them before I knew it.
And I love them.

What I didn't know if that they actually turn white when the purees or rice cereal are too hot - an added bonus when keeping your little one safe.

Favorite meal time basics

In the world of Bob the Builder and Winnie the Pooh, it is sometimes difficult to find unbranded and decal-free baby items. For me, less is definitely more.

The bibs come in a multi-pack and are easy to wash, over and over again. As for the high-chair, I secretly covet the Stokke Tripp Trapp Chair, but for now, this IKEA staple gets the job done. And at $19.99, its a no brainer.

The nugget at 6 months

And then, hours after we had endured a not so pleasant 15 hour journey back to home, he sat up. All by himself, for the very first time.

pretty + practical

So this is not a discussion on whether pacifiers are good or bad - but if you are like me, and you happen to have a baby that gets a bit of comfort from the little nukie (or whatever you have called it), these are the cutest and best pacifier clips.

Because you have all been there when that thing hits the floor in the middle of Trader Joes...

Why are girls clothes so much cuter?

I love this whole outfit.

I am not sure how I stumbled upon Boden or its kiddie conterpart, mini Boden, but when the tiny catalogs arrive in the mailbox, I get almost as excited as when my Domino used to arrive. Okay, not really even close, but what is a girl to do.

Its the tinyness of the catalog, the styling, the stripes, the bold colors - the whole package.
So for mamas with darling girls (and mamas with boys too) - do not miss this!
